Turbine Generators and Compressors. The tens of thousands of revolutions per minute in turbine generators and compressors in the turbine housings are prone to seismic activities due to stresses. This may trigger a catastrophic failure, in case of any severe seismic event. Hence, testing in these cases is crucial.
